Any tips/upgrades for cambelt tensioner?

Hello again

Forgot to ask if anyone has any tips or know of any upgrade parts for the cambelt tensioner -understand this is a potential weak point, gonna get my local garage to do it but thought i'd ask before ordering parts from German & Swedish.

60k is fast approaching for me too, when to my uncles garage and he told me to get the parts from vw instead of g&s
quality is better from vw he says, i hope he aint just trying to waste my money

Hi. Just got my cambelt done about two weeks ago. Your uncle is probably right. Quality from VW is much better. I also got me powersteering belt done at the same time and my water pump. Wasn't too expensive though as my uncle done it
