Just looked at your new pics, how come you haven't got Xenons?

a little shunt at the front maybe? Xenons are very expensive to buy.

That would be my guess.

I think that the reason is the car is an import from Europe

ohhhh right, is that because their lights point to the other side of the road then? He put the standard one on to overcome this instead of forking out about £800 for Xenons?

IIRC the xenons can be altered between RHD and LHD configurations using a switch on the car? Or a VAG-COM maybe... either way they can be switched. I don't think the car came with xenons to start with somehow, and has always had standard lower-spec headlights!

HAH you'd like to think that wouldnt you  sorry to say, i dont do accidents

I bought the car from Denmark and managed to get it at a STEAL

Only drawback to it was that it didnt come with Xenons as Standard :( they gave me the xenons with it (in the boot of the car) though BUT without the Ballasts for them.

I just havent been assed to put them in, to be honest im not really bothered one , they are bright enough and when i sell the car the person can have 2 spanking new Xenon headlights to put in themselves. Did advertise them on here once i think but people were offering silly money for something that costs BUCKS from VW, so decided to just put them in loft.

Sorry to dissappoint some people with the reason i havent got Xenons :-p, although im sure people passed comment about this ages ago !

Also took my 17" off for this winter and put my standards back on, car is back to Go-Kart status !! Car feels like a Dream, only problem is now cant get it back on driveway !! hahahah

DOH !

Nice to see people with comments !!!
