GTI pricing and availabilty

Some news on this front...

Our "bloke at VW" says we're looking at January launch and the price is anticpiated to be somewhere in the Â£14k to Â£15k bracket. Of course, this will depend on the specification VWUK order it with and its position in the range, usual disclaimers apply, etc....

thats what i thought, isn't the 130bhp diesel around that mark already? surely they won't adjust the pricing across the range to allow for the gti?

i didnt understand the pricing for the GTI too... But loads of magazines and sites im finding it to be around the 15,000 mark
