Went to a hand wash garage and be for I could get out my car the guy started cleaning my wheels with alloy cleaner when I got up the road I could tell streaight away there was sumthing wrong with them they are really dull and have white marks all over them! I told him not to use it but he insisted it would be ok so he got stuck in with his brush! what can I do to get my mirror ;look back? just give them a good clean ?I been using brasso wadding.

you could try autosol metal polish. if that doesnt work by hand you can try useing a polishing mop with autosol on it. if not you will have to claim on there public liability insurance and get them refurbed. or send them to welshpolo and he will do them for £100

Autosol by hand will bring them up a treat! May take a while though....never use hand car washes they dont know what there doing (most of them)

Basically, the guy messed it up despite your protests, so legally, he is obliged to put it right. End of story!

well just bought a policraft Polishing kit and some wet and dry contour sanding pads, not sure what to do yet but I'll give it a go.the kit includes a soft and hard buff and a brown and blue compound. I'll give it a go on my old alloys 1st.
