...In the boot of a 6n2?
I have a RE SX18 which needs 4cuft sealed or 6 ported. Currently its in a 8.7cuft ported box (tuned to 40hz) in the boot of my mk2 golf.
Plan is to modify the box to fit the polo. The boot doesn't look too much smaller and I know the sealed option if a defo, just wandering if I could squeeze 6cuft outta it and make it ported.
Anyone else done a box this big in a polo??
Andy
Whats the biggest box you can fit...

I'll be having a 4cuft box once I get the XXX 15", so it's good to hear that should fit ok. How does the SX 18" sound then mate?
I had the SE 12" in my last car. - http://www.realmofexcursion.com/videos/ ... se12.5.wmv
And it's 6.5cuft ported

6.5 is it? It was a while ago when i was looking in to it.
The 18 is pure evil. I was feeding it off a directed viper (1200w rms @ 1ohm) and it just lapped it up. I'm sure it'll take double that.
When i built the box for the golf it litterally filled the boot, it took three people to take it out the car, if was that heavy! If you build the box to follow the angle of the back seat you can get a good couple of cuft extra. Its just a pain making a box that shape!
So I assume no one knows how big a box you can squeeze in then?
