Indeed, go for the same and best bits for your car, as used in a dealer service

The Champion stuff is not that good to be honest and I dont think the price would be much different for a VW version, e.g. the oil filter

Bosch plugs are recommended
So my local car parts shop sells Wix oil filters... I posted on the VAG mail order section and not got a reply yet... so may just get a £5 Wix oil filter, do a quick change with cheap oil and maybe do another oil + filter change after 50 or so miles.... kinda following from Bstardchild's thread about oil change.
Or should I just get the oil changed without changing the filter and after 50miles with new oil then do an oil + filter change?

I got them... but need to cleanse my engine first, then put them in with the service... watch this space.
Oh yeah... only about 40p more than Bosch Supers.... so unless you got like 30 cylinders you might aswell get them!
