I want to add a little bass to my car on the standard head unit.

What do you think of these?

the silver oneis nice, would it be difficult to instal?

they can give some very good results and tend to be very punchy bass wise
i suggest looking into jbl`s offerings too
to wire them in you need a wireing kit (Â£20) and depending on the unit either a set of rca`s or a set of normal speaker cables. you basically wire it in as you would do an amp and then strap it down and off you go. iirc jo guest has one in her car

(dont ask me how i know- ok i know a few club owners in leeds) there is one you can get that looks like a NOS bottle too

Well for Â£150 it sounds good. I bought one off ebay a while back now, and was messed, so can't go wrong with a new one.

The blue/silver one is meant to light up - nice

But I have just thought, running damn power cables to the front

problem is for that money you can get a louder sub and amp package. which will give much better drops and cleaner sound.

The thing I like is that it's all one unit and don't want it to take up a lot of room as the boot is small and a custom made box might cost Â£200 upwards.

Not sure what these will sound like though as it's just a little more bass punch I am after to compliment the Gamma, although saying that I will have to get a lead for the RCA's
