spose if your sub isnt very powerful it should be ok

personally i dont trust sony , yes I do have a sony amp.... but the 1000W RMS digital monoblock, simply as i got it for £90 brand new!
waiting till i have the cash to get two mrd alpine digitals and a pair of type x subs/ re audio xxxs which will hammer

the only bad thing about sony is they give out a distorted sound and can easily blow up/ kill ur sub. not bad if you want something cheap i spose but id wait and get something much better at £300 or so.. thats if you want to impress people on the way past

Really you're best off with a mono amp, and is the sub 600 max or 600w RMS?

IMO you'd be better off with a 200 to 300w RMS mono amp IF you can find one, that should do it fine :D

And iNfa-ReD go with the XXX I've heard nothing but good about them, I'm going with a XXX15" as soon as I have about £1500 together to buy it all

Alpine, JBL Sub, JBL and 6x9

seems to work well.... I don't really rate sony gear either. Although having said that Panasonic Gear are good and has quite a good punch. 70Wx4.

Alpine seems to create the best sound to date..... Although I am in the process of upgrading the cabling and rewiring the 6x9 to go through the amplifier. The reason being is I find that there is a lot of distortion when I hit about volume 20 on the stereo.

I've also linked my psp up to my stereo. Works well enough.

If you have an ipod with ipod ADAPTER the sound, sounds awesome. Plus you can go through the menu through the alpine stereo. I'm not a great fan of third party ipod kits where you have to use the ipod to control. Its not good going on the motorway trying to change tracks. Although you have favourite lists, sometimes its not always easy to set favourite list on your ipod when you are just beginning the journey.

15" sub takes up most of boot space. But its well worth it 1000W output! Can't say I've used all of it though. Although I've seen some people who have converted their boot into some giant bass box. makes sense.
