It's this one ?

Is that a mk5 GTI splitter on there ?. Was it easy to fit ?.

Also did you have to reduce the size of the front discs, cos surely 13's wouldn't fit over 256mm valver brakes ?.

Mk5 GTI front spoiler wasnt that hard to fit, just abit of trimming ere n ther, dosnt fit aswell as I,d like really tho. Yeah had to reduce discs to 239mm, although some 13's do fit over 256mm discs, depends on E.T and the shape of the inside of the rim. Could be persuaded to sell the full car as it is if anyones interested!???? If the GF gets it, she has her own plans 4 it neway!

You fitted smaller discs for the wheels? That's dedication right there! Any difference in brake performance?

Thanks for the info on the lip btw, we were wondering about it for a while now. It's finally solved!

Did you have to trim the ends off the splitter or was it more or less a direct fit ?. Did you screw it to the bumper with self tappers ?.

Good luck with selling your wheels by the way :D

@Speedlaw are you gonna get one then ?, I'm tempted !.

Didnt trim it, but it does overlap slightly, depends how pickey you are I suppose! At £40 it dunt really matter if you dont like it in the end. Would be a good idea to self tap it to bumper as I lost 1 spoiler by going thru a puddle.... car possibly abit low!
