Post by bigandygal »

Hey, just wondering what problems you have all had with your 9n's.

So far, on my 02' i have had:

Ignition coil failure
Fire in front headlight
Leaking rear door seals
Rear wiper did not clear properly

I think its time to get rid of it soon n get a Corrado VR6 :-)

On my 04 1.2 iv had the following problems:

- Rear and front washer jets not working,
- ABS unit replaced (was only indicated by a beeping when starting engine, no light)
- sqeeky rear suspension
- Engine managment system going to pot when overtaking lorry - lost almost all power!
- car telling me i needed a service at 8k miles - apparently didnt need it til 12-13k.
- tracking out, pulling to the left - took the car back they said it was the camber of the road, eventually they realigned and its now scrubbing tyres off

thats all i can think of at the min but have been back to the garage plenty of times!

M7 - what happened with your sqeeky suspension? did the garage sort it? iv got a feeling that they arnt going to do anything about it as its only when going over speed bumps when you can hear it!
