ENGINE PROBLEMS w/ my Polo

Hi, the problem is with my Polo IV (2002) is that sometimes it suddenly halts for a second as if it was turned off and back on in a moment, but there is no answer for the problems source. Last time it happened on the highway, which was pretty uncomfortable. VW Hungary has no answer (btw they are just ripping off clients) as there is no error code appearing.
If anyone has experienced such things before and have a solution please reply.

faulty fuel pump, injectors, over-run cutoff triggering when it shouldn't, ignition system (coil, hall sender) faults?

not a big expert in that area but answers seem thin on the floor in this place right now
