air filter Pipercross

hello people. jus got a polo 1.6 GLX and i wanted to kno would i be able to fit a piper cross air filter on it and which one would i need and how to fit it if possible. another thing would it really build the performance on the car.

There's the model number you want (I take it you want an induction kit), only if yours is a Multi Point Injection though...which I presume it is, I just don't know !

It will come with instructions, which are pretty simple. Just means removing the standard airbox/filter and clamping the new induction kit on.

You won't notice too much to be honest, just alot of noise. Don't expect big BHP gains, will probably only get about 2bhp. It will compliment other mods like a full exhaust, but on its own...not alot. Fuel economy is also reduced.

thanks for that mate but i have 2 pipe connected to the old air filter were do i connect them. sorry for bein a pain mate but you wouldn have a pic of one connected have ya mate i am a bit thick. lol

u'll prob figure it out when u get it and get the instructions, just have a lil fiddle and u should c how it works, just make sure u put the pipe in the right place before u close ur cable ties! i was an idiot and closed 1 in the wrong place and had to cut it, so a big waste but its all learnin init
