Heated seats

Post by cjwardy »

Just put a deposit down on a GTI, after much searching. Am very pleased with the deal i got.
Anyway, was just wondering, how much do VW charge to have heated seats fitted?
And how easy it is to remove the rear vw badge & replace with a black one?

any help appreciated

Thanks, Chris

I'm guessing that it would be a HELL of a lot of money if they'd do it that is.

i dont think they would, it comes factory fitted with the leather interior, so dont think it can be added afterwards, if anyone knows of a safe (ie my seats not catching fire) way of doing it i'd be interested, but got a feeling its nigh impossible

retro fitting this would be a bomb, as said, it was an option from the factory

so your going to need the heating elements and all the wiring associated with that and new seat bases, control units, swiches etc.... major job and not sure can be done really $$£$£
