MK4 8v BMC fitting.

Post by Reeyad »

Hi peeps,

I wonder if any1 can help, I recently sold my Mk4 8V MPi polo to a good friend, now he wanted the BMC fitted.

I ordered 1 for the mk4 8v and my local VW mechnic stated that it couldnt be fitted becoz the throttle body was to small on the car, altho the BMC did come with a reducer.

Can any 1 reccommend a good mechnic that will be able to fit this either London or preferably Yorkshire (bradford).

I ended up with a mk4 induction kit for my mk5.

The mk4 throttle body is alot wider than the mk5.

I just sent it back for a new mk5 one.
