Anyone have a tick at idle?
Mine did it today (might be to do with the excessive damp)...
Anyway, its about 6 - 10 ticks per second independent of engine speed???
Its the Carbon Cylinder purge valve. And they do tick and that is why it is mounted on a rubber thing. Anyway, the rubber thing gets stiff when its cold, and so the tick is transferred to the metal bracket its on.
Anyway, you'll be glad to know its ok (I Hope) and you don't need to worry about it!
