hi there,

i have just bought a y-reg polo 1.4 tdi,
it is the red di model, what is the difference between the single red i one and the red di one?
help would be appreciated

I think the red I indicates it's Pumpe-Duese ?

The badges don't really mean anything,

In theory TDI should represent the 1.4 and the TDI should be the 1.9 but as you have found out it's not always the case!

the mk5 (y reg) didnt come in 1.9TDI form

yeh

it is definitely a 1.4 TDI but id like to know what the difference is in the engines themselves for example bhp?? power etc.
