GTi badge

Post by ModifiedMadness »

Quick question, how does the GTi badge come off the grille? Is it fixed on at the back like the VW sign? The i on mine is looking a bit sh1tty so I wouldn't mind a nice fresh badge.

Cheers.

Yeah, you need the grille out to unclip it.

It's a little bit fiddly, and you'll probably end up impaling yourself on the back of the grille at least once. I always seem to anyway

I'm used to hurting myself mate, so no need to worry there  Think I'm going to have to get one to replace it, the red I is all dirty and well not very red anymore, and I may have to copy Moynas and put one on the engine cover :D

Cheers for the reply guys.

I used a little bit of Autoglym paint restorer stuff on the red I on mine. Cleaned it up a lot.
