Hi there, I have pretty much decided that lowering using the Eibach Sportlines is a must. Found a set for £120 delivered. Had a quote from Awesome Gti for fitting and they have quoted me £167.50+VAT just for fitting.
Does this seem a little expensive? What has everyone else paid or have they fitted the springs themselves? If anyone can recommend anyone cheap in the Northwest area I'd appreciate it. Ta

it took them probably about 2 and a half to 3 hours for fitting and tracking as well as camber adjustment. I just wasted the time walking around the showroom/fitting centre place, and watching some tv in the customer waiting roommkone wrote:Good to hear they do a good job, just out of interest how long did it take to fit the springs? Is it worth waiting around or is it leave it with them for the day kinda thing?
like GMANGTI says though its not that hard a job if you have the right equipment, but you do need someone who has some idea of what they're doing as well as the right tools. Dubpolo came and helped me fit my springs originally but simple things like bolts just not coming loose and general bad luck made us have re-arrange to fit them again but at Andy's house instead of mine so we knew we had all the right tools. I wanted to get them done before I went back to uni so I tried demon tweeks, and even if we would have fitted the springs ourselves the tracking and camber would have still been at least 50 quid afterwards, so I just chose to get it done there and not worry about it
though if like GMANGTI you can find it somewhere for alot cheaper who you know will do it properly then go for it
