Puddle

Post by Musicfreek2002 »

Not a question just basically filling you all in!

While driving through lanes the other day i went through a puddle at bout 15 mph and succefully ripped off my standard splitter from my 16v bumper, must of been a f**king swimming pool not a puddle. i also nearly flooded my engine at the same time.

Damn... I hate puddles...
Went through one about a month back myself.... hit it at about 40mph... wasn't a puddle.... was literally a swimming pool, all that was missing was a diving board.
Fuked my alarm up, but eventually dried out & went back to normal... phew

Did you go back with your flippers to get the splitter?

Did the same the other week when we had that excessive downpoor, hit which was probably a lake @ 60....

Dub didnt like that, normally idles at 850....wanted to idle at 200, then it'd slowly up to 600, was very bizarre.

I bloody hate puddles too....couldnt avoid it though unfortunately :(

They should design splitters that throw as much water outwards as poss.
It would protect the car and also splash pedestrians real good!
