Right we have found someone near here selling a G40 engine from a crash damaged car for £700 done 91k all ok.
Or we have a mk2 coupe S with no engine thats in excellent condition but we need the space, so what i propose is for £850 i will get the engine, mount it in place, put G40 tank, suspension, brakes, and loom in place. I've never had much to do with G40s so this would just be a started project as I don't know much about superchargers or intercoolers, but you would have a car all together just needs finishing and an interior. so would be a pretty good project for someone with a bit of know how to finish, besides thats not a bad price for a coupe S and a G40 engine!. Obviously i'd need the money up front as I need to buy the car, and can send pics of the S but its in such good condition its a shame to leave it sitting in our garden until maybe next year before its back on the road.
Hope someone is interested, maybe someone is willing to come down and help us complete the project and we will sell it whole and running, up to you lot really but better be quick don't think the G will be there for much longer.
