Either that or it had the wrong lid on it...

^^ - What colour would you say that is?
Jep, paint will fade in the sunlight, and will become a bit "lighter" then what it used to be, this explains the colourdifference you encountered. Visit your local bodyworks-repair-shop (with a spray-painter of course) and let then mix up a bit of the correct colour (the will be able to "mix" the colour a bit lighter, so you will have the correct colour)Ant_6n wrote:I'd say dragon green but the paint on your car would probably have faded a bit in the sun light, so it will be lighter.

I really recommend going to a local spraypaintshop, and let then mix up the right colour auto-lacker, then you'll be sure you've got the correct colour
