Indicators HELP!

Can anyone help me my mums golfs indicators have gone crazy

They have stopped working when she puts the lights on and also when she puts the breaks on they go off and sometimes they even go on when she breaks and is not using them

ARE THEY POSSESED? lol

someone told me the earth connection hadgot rusty so checked rear earths and are fine any ideas? or a garage jobby?

Oh and i did check the fuses lol any help would be much appreciated thanks Wesley

make sure all the bulbs are working fine (shorting out can cause weird things to happen)

the earths - double check them LOL!

and look for any other signs of corroding / moisture in the bulb holders

yeah 2 bulbs were corroded so changed them today, so is a bit better just gotta locate the earth connection for the front lights that will be fun lol to completly resolve, hopefully i will be able to find it
