POLO GT - Tow Bar

I am looking into fitting a tow bar to a 2005 Polo GT 3dr. It's going to be used to pull my 205 Rallye on a 4 wheel trailer, the all up weight is 1150kg's.

I would like to fit a tow bar

with a detachable hitch and would like to avoid cutting the bumper.

Has anybody got any ideas?

PS Would use my Fabia vRS to tow it as it is a lease car but of course you can't use a tow bar on a Furby!

That's going to be a bit of an experience mate - Get a heavier towcar.

In theory, you're supposed to have an extra test for towing over 750kgs if you took your test in the last few years.

Your not the first to suggest that!

Might have to keep driving it to events on the road. Just a shame coz i've been offered a brand new trailer for free...
