Car Problems....

Ok I have a MK5 1.4 SE 3 Door Polo.

Basically first off my car needs a full service badly. During driving the car cuts out when putting the clutch in, had this exact same problem before. My car revs very low in the middle of 0 and 10 and barely can keep idle at times. I've been quoted £190 plus VAT for a service from one garage!! Which seems excessive to me.

Also my drivers side window doesn't go down or up, you can hear the noise but it doesn't move at all. So that also needs fixing.

Lastly i hear really bad knocking noises going round corners and a squeaking noise when slowing down, sounds like a scaping noise. It comes from the front end of the car. Not sure if its suspension related or not but my car also does look lop sided, looks like it has a very fat person in the car weighin it down.

Also another question, I want a new suspension kit, also im wondering would I just need the suspension kit to lower my car, would i need to upgrade anything else?

Basically I need a mechanic to carry out all this work for me at a reasonable price, hopefully fix these problems for me and get my car running back how it use to. I live in London and I haven't really found any mechanics i can rely on so maybe someone who knows a good one could recommend someone?

Or if anyone has had similiar problems? How much to fix?
