Just done me first mod

Post by Reeyad »

Nothing special, changed the front and back VW badges to black.

Mods left........

1) Remove Polo badge
2) Fit my BMC.
3) Drop the car 45-50mm (most likely on koni shocks and springs)
4) full exhaust (want a quite one with the cat intact mot reasons)
5) Polish outer lip of the BBS alloys.
6) uprate ICE (for quality sound, uprate headunit and speakers)
7) Uprate brake disk to cross/drilled disc (look so good behind the wheel
8.) remap the ECU
9) get a strut brace fitted.
10) Fit a larger pasenger side mirror to match drivers side

and finaly

11) upgrade the alarm.

One mod im still considering is smoothing the front and rear bumpers....

what do u lot think of the list anymore to add or items u think i should remove.....

list is looking good! my personal opinion would be to add a few light touches to the interior, for example, R32 or TT pedals! they do look good! 8)

How much did you pay to get yours done? I have been quoted £300 for font and £300 for the rear.

All in all it was just over £500 for the front bumper to be smoothed, splitter de-textured and painted then smoothed into the bumper, then the whole bumper to be re-sprayed.

Here's some pics of it

Don't forget these as well, sticking them down is simple, measuring, marking and cutting is the bit that takes the time.

They're for the Golf GTi Anniversary Edition, you have to cut them to fit the polo door sill, they last well, as they are an actual VW part as opposed to an aftermarket item.

Cheers mate, be good to meet a few of you and your cars! Can't wait for it to come round now, think I might even book the week off from the Monday after it.

Think I'll be doing the same on the Saturday, clean her up and make her look nice. Then not use it until Sunday.
