Polo MK4 Wiper

Post by AKs_SlickPolo »

well some fool decided to pinch my little cap that sits ontop of where the nut for removing the rear wiper is. The have broke the arm a bit, so i need to replace it. Ive heard something about an 'Estate wiper arm' being fitted to a mk4 quite commonly. Any1 know what estate? have a part number or a piccy of what it looks like?

i need to replace the arm, so i was thinking that i might as well modd it in the process by fitting an estate wiper IF it looks good 8)

I can confirm it's off a mk4 for sure, don't know about part numbers but I see from your post in VAGParts you've found those :D

Bstardchild has one of these fitted to his 6n AFAIK.

Yes,

I can also assure that it's from the estate and that it fits the mk4 polo very easily. I got mine over 6 months ago.

Optionally you can go with the rear aero wiper that was talked here http://www.tigerstyle.co.uk/poloforum/v ... a187cbcf3d

Question, why does the Mk4 only have a spoiler on the driver's side wiper?
Anyone thought of putting both sides with spoilers?

mine cost me a tenner of ebay, had to be cut dun slightly, the original washer jet still works the same

so no it doesn't come with a washer jet, you just use the existing 1

So, I've got new wind screen wiper blades cos I had to get a new rear blade so bought the front aswell.
When would you deem the wipers require changing?
