Euro German Number Plates / Group Buy?

Post by mysteryboy »

Alright Guys!!

Pair of Euro German Number Plates

A great addition to any VW to give it that much deserved euro look.

The plates are created with your personal choice of registration/inscription

Each plate is embossed and stamped in aluminium to order in a German number plate factory

Remember these plates are the exact same as the ones being produced for cars in Germany so the quality is top notch unlike many cheap copies you may find on the Internet

(white front, white rear).

Depending on how many people are interested will depend on the price.
Current price is £30.00 including postage for 10 sets.

Anyone interested Let me know asap.

Thanks!

Haris

right
i hate to throw a spanner in the works but i've recently subscribed to Golf+ magazine and to cut along story short there was an article in there from a DVLA spokesperson.
Basically within a few months the use of German style plates (this also means people with yellow rears) will be totally outlawed for on-road use.
it is apparently due to go through parliament very soon
i can vouch for this as i was pulled about a month ago for having them on mine, i got off with a caution and i was lucky.
They are thinking of imposing on the spot 60 pound fines.

sorry if i've rabbited on but i thought i would let you know

i'd heard this too, basically because numberplate recognition is coming in more and more so police have been told to crack down.

The ones with the GB badge are still illegal as they're the wrong font.

Ive got them on mine (without the centre logos) and they are exactly the same as UK plates, spacing wise etc, apart from being made from pressed aluminium

Surly that cant be illegal?

Good on ya mate, can't say I blame you. Given the choice I think me and all my family would be somewhere in America, probably Florida.
