Hey,

I was just woundering wot everyone uses the storage compartment for (the one under the headunit in the centre console, the one that looks like ur stereo has been nicked and they have left u a nice hole)

Atm i just throw my remote control and house keys in there.... any good mods or other uses for it?

My glove box has got the VW book in it, that tells you everything about the car (instruments etc) the other storage things have nothing in them.

My glovebox has (disposable) gloves in it  :D for in case I have to do anything that involves getting my hands mucky (like if I break down, God forbid)! And some other nik and naks too. The handbook is in the passenger door, probably not the best place for it tbh although it fits nicely.

As for the spare DIN slot, I rarely use it at all, sometimes bung house keys or phone in there, although the keys usually live in another location most of the time, and my phone goes nicely into that coin slot just above the heater controls (along with some 10p pieces).

So know you know

Either really, it was in the passenger door when I bought the car and it's stayed there ever since!

I can't fit anything in mine as I have the Sat Nav and it takes up both the DIN slots!

As for the glovebox, jeez, what have I in there...some uk-p flyers and thats about it...will check later...

I'll second that, comes in well handy when you go to Burger King, means you can still go fast on the way home (if any police read this by fast I mean speed limit where applicable   )

And off topic, have you got your car sorted Laura?
