Shout at them and tell them to speed up a bit

No seriously, maybe the roller inside has tightened up a bit.

i've heard that if the belts are dirty it doesn't retract properly, helps if you wash the belts in warm water. i'm sure i read that somewhere

Yea you should use it mate. Don't you ever see those 'discusting' tv ads highlighting the dangers of such practise?

On a serious note though, it'd be a good idea to start wearing them mate.
Even though - like most of us - good advice just sounds like nagging, maybe other incentives might encourage you... like the fines you might get if caught not wearing one.
Or even perhaps the effect it'd have on your family and friends if something were to happen to you as a direct result.

Just a thought.

just make sure they're nice and dry before you let them reel-in again!

hahaha good one... and there was me thinking u was a pr!ck but u do have a little sense of humor, so appologies on my behalf for any offence caused...

In reply to my non seat belt wearing.... They seem to be really akward and go over my neck causing quiete a bit of discomfort.... so usually I only wear them when going at higher speed (motorway)
