this is probs gona b simple, but wires confuse me!!!

im fitting rear speakers in my 6N, looking at the head unit, y is there a brown wire connected to the green (positive rear right speaker wire) yet the green and black (neg rear right) purple (pos left) and purple black (neg left) are connected to nufin?? wot the hell is that brown wire for??

I believe this is the earth wire, (I tink ) you have to place it somewhere so its earthed. I may be wrong so wait for more replies.....

there normally black in cars as its nat actually earth its negative ground. so i a sence the cars chassis is -12v and the + on the battery is +12v. there is no 0v

ive done it now, just cut the bad boy and nothin has gone wrong so far...although my hair sticks up a bit now wen im driving...lol
