That's the confusing part, thae fact that another amp worked yet the ones you keep getting don't?

It may be worth checking all of your connections again, remote turn on both on the amp and the H/U, RCA connections (again on the amp and H/U), power connections (amp and battery), fuses etc.

ok i finally got this sorted -

I got this guy to run a test on my wires and there was hardly any power going to my amp (should be 12watts, only was getting about 2) so he did a test from the battery to the main fuse (thats near the battery) and it was running at 12, so it had to be the main fuse.

it turned out to be the fuse thats near the battery, it was too high, it had a 60amp fuse, so i just put a lower fuse in and it worked :D

problem solved......

wouldnt have anything to do with the rating if the rating was too high. More than likely that the fuse was acutally blown but you couldnt see it.

the fuse wasn't blown because my friends lower watt amp worked with it

Well if your amp is 800w then I'd have said you'd need a 60A if not more, my amp was 450w rms, 800w max and I was running an 80A fuse, I had no problems at all.
