hi everybody,new member this forum,I don't know if this is the right place for this topic, so sorry if it's the wrong place!!my name is Anil and I'm from Turkiye...I drive 1998 6n 1.6 8V,It's faster than orginal 1.6!but It isn't GTI
engine tuning;K&D air filter,superchips,colombo&bariani 280 cam,52mm exhaust pipes and Remus back box(not universal)-->perfect sound
another parts:
eibach pro-kit springs(-30mm)
wiechers front strut towers bar
195/45 R15 wheels
Exterior:
FK headlights+H7 6000K xenon conversion kit
hella clear side indicators,
hella blue taillamps (in my room )

Very intrested in your performance how much has the car changed and give us specs 0 to 60, bhp and of course torque.

I imagine being an 8v it must be real torquey.........

welcome,sorry I haven't perfect English ıf I have mistaken
0-60:10-9.5 max speed about 195-200km/h,I measured
max power after chip:81.5hp, max torque 129Nm(I didn't understand because original torque same value after I cleaned injection,the torque go up)
after cam.????because didn't measured,I haven't enough time...
now,chip+cam+....)nearly 90-92hp,torque nearly+15-20Nm

Thanks mates.I got it (headlights)FK,in Germany www.fk-automotive.com ,the firm in germany but factory in taiwan
If you asked me xenon conversion kit,I bought it tuningshop in Turkiye,the mark is wideview,made in Korea...the view and colour are super

Thanks,I don't like body kit,so the car's exterior view is simple but engine ıt has the same performance with 1.4 16v 101hp but original suspensions are very soft therefore
I will buy suspensions kit next month ...I decided Bilstein kit

Can I ask ''What do you think about Superchips?because made in U.K!
In Turkiye,Some people say that It's a bad chip!unichip,wimmer better than...but I pleased!

After chip short dyno movies,I film with mobile phone so the image isn't good (Quicktime)
ıf you can see 5900g/m,speed 221km/h I saw 5500g/m on highway
