If nothing arrives in the post within 14 days with regards to this, then don't worry about it. Just that those two weeks are a little bit nerve-wracking aren't they :|

Were there any other cars with you at the time, maybe one of them set it off? Variable speed limit sounds a bit underhanded though (I haven't been down to Heathrow for a long time).

There's loads of grids around there in the variable limit, especcially anticlockwise, but they don't all have cameras (I think there's only actually 2-4 in the variable.

The cameras mounted are on the bridges so you can't actually see them until you're past them (best bit is, I think they're actually painted bright yellow). It's a bit tricky because most people don't obey the variable limit.

They're part of the reason I bought a TomTom.

i think going anti clockwise from j16 to heathrow there 2, and one the other way just before the m4 junction or is it , you shouldnt get anything , unless you were really going some, also i dont think they work, i work at heathrow always going off,

yup got flashed about 4 months ago now, i was at about 80 and the whole car lit up, haven't heard anything since
(or are they secretly on to me :? )

i would'nt worry too much mate

a good friend of mine, his dad is an ex-copper and apparently they don't put film in 32 percent of cameras up and down the country, hes told me about the law of speed cameras and how the system is corrupt ( he gets print outs of what cameras are working where and when!) cheeky sod
