Hi mate,
I live in newcastle as well and i was wondering where you got them wheels refurbed?
Been looking for a while but unable to find anywhere willing to do split rims.
Also How much did it set you back?

Well i got the centres done @ AMD coatings in the team valley for £100, and then the outsides finished off at my uncles mates place, not something they usually do, for £70.

So £170 all together.

Cheers.
I know a lad who works at a powder coaters on the valley, said he would be able to do them in his own time. So the cost of a few pints for him.
and for the rim doing this myself. but feel unsure about taking the wheel apart and reassembling it.
Would rather pay some one else who knows what they are doing.

Havn't got any other wheels to put on, and don't really wont to spend any more money than needs be.

About £185 all in for the wheels and the accompanying centre caps from your local friendly dealership :D

And they use the same wheel bolts and tyre size as the BBS rims, so you can swap everything over, nice and easy

Thanks for the tip of putting on G60 wheels.

Think i'm sold on that idea. plus will prob use them as a winter wheel, so i can have a polished rim in the summer.

Bit skint at the mo trying to save for spends on hol in feb.

So will have to wait until after that.
