eBay cars

Post by Jillwilson »

Has anyone tried selling their car on eBay at all.
I wanted to sell mine last year to start a new project but other than on here I never advertised it.
I'm definately going to advertise it at shows this year but was considering the wonder kno3wn as eBay to advertise it a bit more.
What do you think???

give it a try just make sure you put a reserve on it. As with anything though there needs to be someone who wants it! or even better 2 or 3 people! I sold a scooter on eBay about 6 months ago and it went within 24 hours so i guess if someone wants it then your onto a winner with eBay!

Ebay will get you alot of coverage and when people go to view you can always accept offers outside of ebay and then end the auction early. Just try to make the description as honest as possible.

One thing would be not to accept paypal payments though, I've heard too many horror stories and they sting you for alot of fees!

Yup as said above.... Just put a fair reserve price and let the auction do its thing... at worse you'll lose about a fiver if it dont sell.... & as said above dont accept paypal.... Theres no need for them to pay via paypal... Cash on collection is always best. Good Luck with the sale
