right guys, i need to pick your technically minded brains, i really really want to install electrically folding mirrors, but i want them to look factory fit, so as oem as possible, i need the right sized mirros, to work out how its activated, is it an extra function on the switch that controls the adjustment of the mirrors, so can it be done so it happens when you take they key out of the ignigtion?
presumably would need parts from suitable passat or golf i guess, not too clued up on what had what on the options list

There was guy on ebay sellin cruise control mods for several VW, it requires some mods and replacing the indicator arm.andyg wrote:ditto but it seems tricksy.

The aerial, take a look here, lots of owners on this forum have bought one of these and they fit perfectly, and at a fiver delivered are incredible value (I paid £20 for mine in a GB some time back)
Finally, the folding wing mirrors were never an option on the 6n2 GTI, but that doesn't mean that they can't be retro-fitted! Fingers crossed for ya Nick, good luck!
