P20 DUB? What does his car look like the reg sounds a little familiar
Good news is i should be able to make it to the meet on sunday as i've got the day off.
Yeah the engine and gearbox will be going so if u're still intrested then it's here in a years time. I must say i've done some pretty quick changes sine owning the car and it never crunches. Must be agood un'

I'm seriously intrested in convoying with laura and P20 DUB if they are up for it?

Had these numberplates since sept. (edition 38) and never been pulled once. Even had police cars sat on my ass on the motorway in outside lane (doing the speed limit cause it annoys them) and still haven't been pulled over. I'm just going to say "well they are reflective, u can read them and we are part of europe which germany is too and the car was made in germany so there" or something like that if ever questioned. 8)

thats not entirely...accurate
german style pressed plates are non-reflective to a certain degree that roadside cameras cannot read your numberplate + the stadt stickers dont help issues as your number plate shows up as a foreign plate thus the camera cannot read it and you get away with speeding scott-free.

and just a pre-caution they are suddenly clamping down on german style plates (even ones with GB written on them)
i know 2 other ppl who have been pulled round here and had to change them and thats not including me

sucks i know

Thats why I keep my normal plates in the boot of the car.

"Very sorry officer, I was at a VW show...I'll change them now"

Worked last time I got stopped, but then they are meant to be clamping down for the ANPR camera stuff :(
