noise from rear

Post by paul007 »

hey guys...

my polo is at its most standard form, no alloys not lowerd, starting from scratch. but there is a strange "rubbing" sound cumin from the rear driver side (i think) when i turn left at speed. i checked the rear wheels and the guards were loose, ive fixed them but the noise persists....

any clues...anything at all could help
Cheers

sounds like a wheel bearing if it's just when you turn one way.

not an expensive job - but best to get it looked at.

Same thing was happening to mine…. It turned out to be how the exhaust was mounted and the center section was hitting the bodywork causing a rumbling…
Just got the exhaust adjusted and its perfect now….
Hope that helps

A similar thing is happening to mine. it is a mixture between a rubbing and scweeking noise coming from the suspension or bearning some where.
