Cool Harry, can't wait to see them!

Those centre caps are expensive indeed. I've seen sets for sale around the â‚¬100 mark, or worse...

i know the ones i got from a porsche specialist cost me Â£50 for four the guy in the store didn't charge me vat otherwise it would have been about Â£60, (they had some cool porsches in the workshop...

) but they do vary and you can get loads of different types the metal ones are Â£100 plus...they had some really nice porsche valve caps but couldn't justify Â£20 for four of them i'll stick to black plastic ones...

I'm trying to get my mits on some of those valve caps too - I know I have no Porsche parts on the car at all but they look really, really nice...

got the price for the wheels to be done, it's expensive strip down and repaint stock silver Â£131inc vat and if i want the lips remaining polished Â£20 plus vat per wheel for masking, and then Â£30 to put tyres on, as i'm broke i went for stock silver no polished lip they will be ready by the end of the week..

he did say you can get the lip paint removed and polished at a later date will c, want to get the back smoothed and a few interior trims before wheels, expenses all around

speedalw just picked up the rims, they look trick with the oe finish and the new centre caps the 40 series makes all the difference you see more alloy than on 45, do you know how much the air pressure should be? thanks. (i am getting sooooo excited can't wait to put them on...)

I don't know the ideal pressure, but I bet JBS will have a clue.

So can you see the outer edge of the rim too? Nice eh!

yep defiantely can see the outer edge they will be easier to clean also once i get them on will take some nice scenic pics of leeds and show you what it looks like...roll on end of month when i get paid...jbs here i come...

for pressure try 2.4 bar and then 2.3 and see which ytou prefer, any lower and the car will feel sloppy and any higher and the ride will be very harsh
ps where in leeds are you as im doing a lap of the up in the next few weeks with a big stop in leeds so i might see you

cool..polo2k the guy who made up the wheels mentioned something about 2.1?? if thats not right then i'll get them done again, hey let me know when you come up i'm near the whiterose centre..it's ok but i can meet up anywhere in leeds let me know..we go for a drink..
