this has been a problem since the polo has been in the family.

when ever the car is washed the passenger seats gets a nice soakin

and when drivin with no music on theres a whistlin noise and sound like it'll take off

the sun roof is not sitting flush wiv the car n its allowin water in.

ne ideas

I'm pretty sure you can get some special grease which u can use to help create a good seal around the glass and rubber :?

My country does the same, it was sealed up with silicone as a temporary emergency measure about 6 years ago and hasn't been sorted properly since.

There was a thing on the other Polo site that these went factory fitted, but I think the Country ones were (they wind up rather than just push) as if you look in the owners manual they are there so I wondered if VW would sell new seals???

What is the grease called........has anyone used it?

yep wind up n factory fitted

i just turn the music up n 4get bout it but cant hack the passenger seat getting wet all da time n inside smelling of damp

ne ideas 2 cure the problem?

They've been very good at getting me some obscure parts for the Mk1, especially if you quote them part numbers :wink:
