LOL - I think that'd mean I'm probably the only one.13twelve wrote:Its not a question of you being a bad or a good driver omicron.
And I dont believe for a second you never break speed limits - especially if you drive a Merc Sprinter van.
Actually, 60 and above, where it is safe, I do. I'd totally agree with stevie007 on that.
No point argueing - I agree with all of that. I'd love an HGV license myself.stevie007 wrote:I'm also an trained advanced Driver. But unlike some drivers I use speed with common Sense. If its safe to go its good to go. If I'm on the motorway I will use higher speeds to get me to places quicker. I don't have any driving convictions. I havent had a shunt yet (Unlike some who have mishaps in the CAR PARK! What speed was you going at I have no idea but it couldnt have been pretty fast.
I'm sure you've got a bottomless list of driving mercedes sprinter vans such petite considering I can drive HGVs. I didnt become a car nut for no reason.
Use speed where needed but use speed with common sense.
When the Road says 30 mph, I'm refering to those who travel at 20 mph on a clear road on a sunday morning. Last Time I checked the police could stop you for that for holding up traffic!.
Oh, and the being pissed off by scooter riders - don't worry, we like pissing people off

I never go looking for a "race" however is there is a w**k driving stupid fast around me I will generally have a play to teach them a lesson
list so far includes:
Bentley Continental GT
Seat Leon Cupra R
Porsche Boxster S
Sierra Sapphire Cosworth
Numerous Saxo's/Corsa's
Civic Type R
Integra Type R
BMW 330ci
Most of the people driving the cars have been really nice, slowed up as soon as they've realised what w**k they'd been and generally stop to have a chat about the car. ONLY one that was a total t**t was the guy in the cossie.
