Don't worry, you haven't missed anything!
My insurers told me, "no modifications to the engine, suspension, gearbox or wheels". Besides, the Powerflow system is being built to the same spec as the standard OE exhaust, the advantage of having a Powerflow is that it has a lifetime gaurantee (sp), thats why I'm having it!
As for the B&M, well I could fit it ASAP but as soon as somone drives the car they will know that something is different. If you have to have your car repaired by your insurers after a bump, the approved bodyshop picks the car up, whisks it away and takes a stack of photos of the car and writes a report before the insurers assess the damage and read said report, then make their decision on whether or not it is worth their money putting the vehicle back on the road. You can't miss a short-shifter, you can overlook a slightly shinier looking standard spec exhaust...
There is probably a 90% percent chance that I will have the shifter fitted, and I don't mind paying JBS £80 to sort it for me, just sometimes I think that maybe it would be better off actually fitted to a car rather than gathering dust under my bed!
