Hey, just looking for some help on wiring up my sub n amp in my 6n2 polo.
Tried today, and got some of the dash out... what a task. Anyway i found the gromet by the break fluid tank and make a hole but on the other side there seems to be thick material. Should i push the wire through this?
Just dont want to find im bursting something i shouldnt. Also, do i need to take the dash out again?
Any help or tips would be much appreciated,
Thanks

hello
has your 6n2 got a/c,dont no if gromment and hole are there on non a/c cars.
if so, no need to strip out dash, pull carpet back in passenger footwell and reomove door seal, seat belt bolt ect,to run cable though to back.
where the drain comes out of air conditioning there is a blck gromment remove this from engine bay side make a cut into this bigger enough for your cable, i have used 2 guage cable, its a bit of a job to get though use plenty of washing up liquid as lubricant on cable and grommet, then refit grommet, run cable neatly through to back end of car, pulling back carpet and threading though cable holders which are already there, also remember to fuse both ends of the cable, all in the job took me about 4-5 hours on and off (spare time thoughout the week)
hope this has helped
