Got my Gti back for anyone who cares!!!

After two 3 weeks without my gti due to the cam shaft seizing and causing loads of problems etc i finally got it back and i must say i missed it soooooooo much i was driving a clio as courtesy and missed my polo every minute of the day, thank god it was under warranty aswell so no expense to me :lol:

moral of the story is, i fcuking love my polo Gti

I love my GTi too, saying that I just took a spin in a Mini cooper s, I have fallen in love...............

What casued the cam shaft problem?

your lucky its under warranty mate, otherwise you should have got the vaseline ready!

Glad you got your car back. I know what it's like cause i'm without my car at the mo (didn't realise walking was so knackering) and i miss my GTI soo much.. :(

Now you can enjoy it to the full ;)

to be honest i aint to sure about the problem the garage told me that the cam shaft seized and the timing belt jumped because of this, bending valves etc.
just so glad i got it back and just for anyone thats thinkng about buying a clio DONT

Bet you are glad it was under warranty at the time though, mine was under warranty when I had a similar thing happen (although not quite so severely) and I too didn't have to fork out from my own pocket - phew! Very glad!

about 51,000 in three years with it's previous owner :? plus 2,000 I'd put on. So I was at ~53,000 when the tensioner failed.
