Hello, and a little advice please.

Post by waltsdog »

Hello, I've just bought my 1st polo, a standard 1.6 1996 3 door in dragon green. (the sticky subjects on this forum were very helpful thanx).

It has a little problem so before I start going crazy with mods I need it sorting.

The front bumper needs a re spray and as I dont have a Haynes yet could someone tell me how difficult it is to get off? (its juat the part behind the number plate, not the whole thing). Or should I just take it to a bodyshop cos it needs a small dent pulling out as well?

Appart from the bumper and a ding to the drivers door it is pretty mint, I will get some pics up soon. I'm planning some coilovers, 13" deep dish alloys, debadged/detrimmed all round.

Any help will be much appreciated

Hmmm, I was thinking that too, any opinions on a smoothed rear end?? I'm used to mk2 golfs and that would be a big no-no on such a square car. I think it would suit the polo??
