You can't beat the 1.0!

It's all I can afford to insure right now! I had a Punto SX not long ago (just over a 1.2) and it was a P plate, and the insurance for that was £200 cheaper than the older car with a smaller engine! But Fiats are s**t and nobody would want to touch one.

My websites now up and some pics and info of the car is on it, the link is http://www.itschris.co.uk.

Yeah man I detest Fiats.

My next plans for the car are to get the bumpers colour coded, the boot grab handle and spoiler colour coded and get the windows blacked out.

thats what i want to do next, looks really good but doesn't cost too much, perfect!
just getting time to do it is my problem, although for a year starting next week i won't be driving to work so, i can have my car in peices and not worry about needing it ready for use the next day

yeah i want more power but then i couldn't afford the insurance! in a couple of years time i wouldn't mind a gt or g40, or even drop an engine into a polo, say a g60 lump! how would that go? also i have seen a pic of a g40 with the g60 charger! how easy would that be to do??

I'd imagine it would be a hard job lol.

I'm keeping my Mk3 for another couple of years then plan to get a Golf GTI or a Seat Cordoba Cupra or a Polo TDi (i love diesels) my dad has an 02 Toledo TDi and its a great car.

G'Day fella,

I'm new here as well, but thought I would extend a warm welcome.

I'm also a MkIII owner, in fact the house is fast gaining a collection of MkIII Coupes...

Me - MkIII Coupe 1.3 CL
Other half - MkIII Coupe 1.0 Fox
Neighbour - MkIII Coupe - Just bought a Genesis by the looks of things?

I'd I'm on th ehunt for a G40... 12 months of dubs and I'm hooked.
