Electric Window Problem

Post by loud »

My driver side electric window started getting a bit slow at responding when trying to put it down, and now it is permanently stuck in the closed position, what would need replaced/fixed?

The motors often burn out etc, but if i was you i would have a look at it first as it may just need a window repair kit. which is alot cheaper than the motor.

I had this problem, the motor had simply jammed. Take your door card off and holding the switch either up or down give the motor a good hit with a rubber mallet (it may take a couple of attempts) It worked for me, but if it doesnt you havent lost anything.

Window may have come off the runners on the regulator - plastic clips hold it it place and easily break

Fixable easily though, do a search on window by me
