Hi guys,
Just put my fabia up for sale and looking at the polos again
Im looking at either the 1.4 match or the 1.4 SE
Can you tell me what the differenc is???
Are they both 16v?
Do they have the same rear bumper as the GTI???
If i get either ill be looking to put on Gti splitter, rear spoiler, honeycombing etc. Can all this be bought easily????
Sorry so many q's
Cheers

the match is an 8v (not sure bhp prob around 60/65) and the se is a 16v (75bhp iirc)
i think all mk5s have the same rear bumper as the gti
all those parts can be bought from vagparts on these forums

Ok well heres my dilemma....
I like the SE as it has fog lights.
However i think the match has a better interior by far. All the SE's ive seen have a grey interior with blue bits????
So what do we reckon???
And if i get the SE is a seat swap from another model feasable???? What about the Gti seats? How much would that cost etc????
Cheers

mine was a match 1.4 60bhp, the foglights were an option and the previous owner chose them as an option. They are out there just keep looking.

Yes, can be retro fitted for a reasonable amount of cash
I can post the full specs for the match if you want? vs. SE (I have the sales booklet)

Bit like how the salesman I bought the GTi off at VW didn't know it had trouble with the Pedal Box
