I've got a remus back box with a custom straight through centre section
and i know what you mean with the sound. Mine doesn't sound very mean sounds more like a scooter unless i put the foot down then induction kit kicks in. Ha Ha. Was thinking bout removing the cat like would you advise getting in done does it make the car louder. :D

im not sure wot it will sound like if u have the back box and straight thru if u add the de-cat...?

on my car it just made a little raspy noise on half throttle.

if i put the foot down it just became all induction noise! :D so i didnt even hear the de-cat, its just since i took out the centre box but im gettin a new pipe with a box again, i liked it better that way!

i used to just drive around in half throttle thru the gear changes cos i liked the exhaust noise!

I just really want my car to sound a wee bit more meaner and gruntier from the exhaust. :D Did you have any problems with the lambda sensor on your de cat like where did you put it. People i've spoke to said it might go into limp mode. :D

iv had no lambda problems at all!

i found a bit pipe at work with a lambda boss in it so just incorporated it into the de-cat, i think because i still have the little cat at the front , its still enough to make the 2nd sensor think there is still a cat there so it doent make any problems running wise!

i was thinkin bout takin the little cat out but im gonna leave it for now! :D

Thanks for your help mate.I think i might get it done after my mot but i'll just leave the first cat in cause i don't think it will make much differance. Cant wait till summer again to get out cruising again in good weather. :D
