Hey willy,

I bought my aero wipers from Vagparts for just under £43 (see here for more details).

They were really easy to fit - just a matter of carefully removing the old ones then fitting the new ones nice and tight to the wiper mechanism.

The reason I say "nice and tight" is because the aero wipers don't have an identically sloping attachment nut like the old 6N wipers did and as such they don't fit quite as snugly. I found this out to my cost as I obviously didn't tighten my right wiper enough and it almost flew off my windscreen as I drove along the A1 with the wipers on full wipe.

If you get stuck just consult your Haynes. I'll take pictures of the finished product if you want?

On the topic of rear wipers. Does anybody know where you can get that 'cap' to fill the hole when you remove the back wiper?

For the rear you can get the polo variant or an aerowiper, the 9n or mk5 i think. Cant remember it.

Variant ( 30€)

http://www.cult-society.com/frameset.asp?site=ecompany then click on original cult parts, then on cover for the rear wiper and away you go. it does take a little bit of looking to find though

also if you buy a mk4 Golf Aero Wiper it will need slightly trimming because of the smaller rear window on the polo.
